Dr. Maqsood Ahmad is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Environmental Science at Balochistan University of Information Technology, Engineering and Management Sciences (BUITEMS), Quetta. He holds a Ph.D. in Environmental Science from GC University, Lahore. With over six years of experience as Deputy Director at the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Punjab, he is an expert in industrial and ambient air monitoring, including stack emissions and PM2.5 analysis. His research spans air and water quality monitoring, wastewater treatment, bioremediation, and public health. Dr. Ahmad has supervised numerous graduate research projects, published extensively in peer-reviewed journals, and contributed to book chapters on environmental biotechnology and climate resilience
